The long-awaited holidays have arrived, and I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2026. It’s also a good time to reflect and look ahead to what the next year holds. For me, 2025 has been very busy, splitting my time between Spain and Vietnam, while remaining focused on my main projects: the XaviVerso books, the Megapop Games videogames, and the F&B business with Barbaros Hanoi.
In 2025, I published the English editions of Mark of Odin: Road to Valhalla and Mark of Odin: Ragnarok, as well as the bonus chapter “Prisoner of Fate,” and I’m currently in production on the third and final bonus chapter for Ragnarok, “The Chosen One’s Crusade.” I was also responsible for publishing the videogame Trolls vs Vikings: Reborn, the PC remake of the first Megapop Games title. I’ve also been actively involved in promoting Life Below, which will be our next video game in 2026. All of this while I’ve been in Hanoi wholeheartedly supporting the growth of the Barbaros restaurant and improving its image both on-site and at international events in collaboration with several Latin American embassies in Vietnam.
I have set myself some very ambitious goals for the beginning of 2026. Starting with the production and publication of ‘In Rare Earths,’ my next thriller novel in which Carla Romero, the protagonist of ‘The Stone Lotus,’ returns to action with a fast-paced, global story that I hope will once again surprise my readers. I intend to complete all of this before returning to Vietnam at the end of March to spend another season there supporting my partners and friends at Barbaros. And well, at some point I also hope to begin production on the fourth book in the Mark of Odin saga, as well as make progress on publishing my books in new languages.
As every year, I’m sharing my traditional, charming Christmas card, which I’ve been making since 2009, depicting the main projects I’ve been involved in this year.
So, as I said, I sincerely hope you have a wonderful few days with your loved ones, eating, drinking, and laughing a lot—we all need it! I’m convinced that next year will be even better and that even more incredible achievements will come your way. Hugs!
