With more than 140,000 readers of the Mark of Odin saga around the world, Xavier Marcé has become one of the leading authors in transmedia narrative and self-publishing. His 23 years in the video game industry as a journalist, editor, communication manager, online marketing and Community Manager give him a unique vision of the sector and the management of media and communities.
With the release of 'The Stone Lotus' in Spanish in 2022, my first independent thriller novel after the Mark of Odin saga, that I have written and published, I start what I expect to become a great literary universe of books where all stories will be connected in a way or another, no matter they belong to different universes or realities.

Formed by veterans of Funcom and Artplant, Megapop Games, seeks to combine all the experience of great professionals by applying it in the universe of video game entertainment for mobile devices and PC, as well as digitization in apps for all types of companies.
At Megapop I perform various functions related to the world of communication and online marketing, public relations and business development. I also assist in product management, Spanish localization, and creative product development. During this time I have actively collaborated in the development and publication of titles such as Trolls vs Vikings, Meganumbers, Trolls vs Vikings 2, Haxity and Rob Riches.

I was fortunate and happy to manage the online community and reputation of this family business that included the hotel and restaurant establishments of Carabela Beach & Golf Hotel, Carabela Beach Club & Lounge Bar, Gastromar and Hoyo 19 Gastropub, among others.
After having spent more than a year managing the Age of Conan newsletter in Spanish through Juegaenred.com, I was hired by Funcom as its Spanish Community Manager. From November 2007 to January 2010 I developed the management of the Spanish community and coordination with the Localization and Q&A departments for the Spanish version of Age of Conan and The Secret World.
I also had an active role in different marketing and promotional actions such as the association with Grupo Planeta and Edge Entertainment to strengthen the intellectual property of Conan or the organization and running of events such as the Barcelona Comic Fair or Campus Party of Valencia.
Co-founder together with David Puig of the digital magazine Juegaenred.com, the first Spanish digital magazine specialized in massively multiplayer online gaming in 2004. The magazine was created from the web portal, list of games, which had existed for a few years before. In it, I was responsible for writing news, articles and reviews, as well as acting as editorial contact for all PR Managers of video game publishers, and communication managers from independent studios.
In turn, I was in charge of the management of the Juegaenred community as well as the different fansites that were integrated into their network, such as the official Spanish community of EVE Online and Dark Age of Camelot or the Age of Conan fan page. After the creation of Online Ocigrup S.L. I became Chief Editor and content coordinator for the group's websites until 2013.
