It felt like the day would never come, but it’s finally here — I can now announce that I’ve surpassed 200,000 XaviVerso books worldwide across print, ebook, and audiobook. Reaching this epic milestone is a dream come true for me, especially considering I’m an independent publisher and writer who depends solely on my own resources. Of course, all the credit truly belongs to every reader who, over these years, has chosen my stories to enjoy and get excited about.

I still remember launching and publishing ‘Mark of Odin: The Awakening’ and its online platform, alongside the spectacular trailer for ‘#DesastreSevilla’ back in July 2012. That Wednesday wasn’t supposed to have any major news events — I was hoping for maximum media impact — but then-Prime Minister Rajoy announced a VAT increase, and my entire promotional paradigm changed overnight. Since then, I’ve managed the crazy feat of writing and publishing six books in Spanish and English, all while keeping my clear drive to innovate and forge a new path in the publishing and literary world front and center. Thanks to that, I was recognized with the ‘100 Best Ideas of 2013’ award from Actualidad Económica magazine for my model fusing literature with a transmedia universe featuring gamification elements, and I was also shortlisted for several years running for the Prince/Princess of Girona Foundation Awards.
I hope surpassing 200,000 books serves as positive reinforcement to keep growing — not just to keep writing and publishing new stories, but to make my intellectual properties compelling enough to make the leap to film, television, anime, video games, or other formats. Now the question isn’t whether I’ll reach 300,000 books, but how long it’ll take me to get there. I hope to keep counting on all of you on this thrilling journey.
